[You know what this event could use more of? Mirrors making trouble. Now, granted, causing trouble isn't usually Mirror James' thing, but this is a special occasion.

Granted, his brand of trouble is a little more quiet and subtle than his Real Thing's is. Of course, that doesn't make his methods ineffective. He's been creeping around the mansion, ( Read more... )

all hail the queen, causing trouble, event, not much of a rebel, slytherin pride, mirror james

Droog has no real reason to be for or against the rebel mirrors. However, he believes in making trouble for royalty on principle.

So here he is heading out the front door, doop de doo, don't mind him.

Oh hey, look, it's that guy who nailed Droog with pumpkin juice, except he isn't all smiles and immature chuckles this time. Instead, he's more stoic and cold, but oh, what's that? He still has a magic wand? That's probably not good.

"I wouldn't go, if I were you."

His wand is raised, comparable to how one would threaten someone at gunpoint. You know, just in case Droog tries to ignore him.

Oh hey it's that guy who Droog still wants to murder horribly.
There was really never any question of ignoring James. If anything, Droog seems a little bit pleased.

You're going to stop me?

"Yes, I am."

He wastes no time after that. He waves his wand, calls out a spell, and a green bolt shoots out from it towards Droog. He might not want to stay in that spot long enough to find out exactly what it does.

[Beiste makes her way over to the hole warily, her metaphoric hackles raised.

Or are they figurative?

In any case, she's taking it slow, so if anyone decides to jump her like that one time in the forest then she's slightly more ready than she otherwise would be.]

[James' Mirror recognizes this person. He spends a significant amount of time spying on the Real James, so he's aware that they know each other and that they're friendly. So instead of simply attacking her, he puts his wand away. For now.]

Wait! Don't!

[It might be more practical to attempt to talk her out of it instead, so he tries very hard to look like he cares about her well-being. It's really difficult for him, honestly.]

[She glances back, surprised.]

What? Why?

[Does James know something she doesn't? That'd be a change, for once.]

It's dangerous. ...I'd rather you not get hurt.

[Right? That sounds about right.]

[Funny, Sirius had the same idea, except he's being a little more apathetic about it. Yes, his wand's in his hand, and yes, he's keeping a sharp eye out for people he deems to be troublemakers, but he's not going to pounce on the first person he sees.

This situation requires nuance, and Sirius is just oozing with that. Feel free to interject.]

[Well, in all fairness, just look at Droog. He's a very troublesome looking guy. He's obviously someone to attack as a rebel.

James glares from his spot on the opposite side of the room, as if Sirius is somehow blowing his cover just by being there. In a moment of quiet, when it is just the two of them alone, he finally calls out to him.]

You couldn't come up with your own plan, I take it?

[Sirius doesn't just up and attack people, though. He has to be goaded into it, or else he'll just resort to personal attacks, and he is quite good at those.]

I don't believe there is a rule that says only one person can lurk around at a time.

[James would be perfectly content to just sit and watch, even without adding personal attacks, if there were more Mirrors opposing the rebellion. But there aren't, so here he is, pitching in so he can get what he wants out of the ordeal.]

There are plenty of places to lurk that aren't here. I highly suggest you find one.

[Sooo having no clue wtf is going on with this revolution and mirrors and any of that vital information, Juvia is going on a walk. She plans on going outside where Minato-kun took her on the first day she arrived.

However, there is a creeper person standing in her way that she hasn't seen before. Hm. Hopefully she can navigate around him. As she tries to reach to open the door, she speaks.]

Ah, excuse Juvia.

[Hm. She doesn't seem immediately dangerous, but someone could easily sway her once she's outside. With that in mind, he doesn't move immediately.]

Might I ask where you're going?

[Well he's no Gray-sama, but Mr. Blocking the exit is pretty cute. Thus she might blush a bit and avert her eyes as she answers.]

Juvia wanted to go to the maze to see if Minato-kun was there.

[Marceline's been curious about this whole mirror thing. Well, she didn't care so much about their whole "rebellion" thing-- sure, they could do whatever they wanted, but it didn't concern her and it wasn't very interesting without any wizard battles or horrible monsters to slay.]

[What did interest her was the mirror's side. Being a vampire, she didn't have a reflection, so she was somewhat doubtful about her having a mirror self. And having already explored most of the real mansion, maybe this side would have something new to see!]

[Marceline floats inconspicuously towards the entrance the rabbit had opened, like everything was no big deal, and made a little sideways peek towards it. If she could just slip in real neat right here...]

[Did you say belated wizard battles? Mirror James here could arrange something like that. He's planning on it anyway, since generally people who float are probably worthy of suspicion, as far as he's concerned.

So he addresses her directly:]

Stop!
