[Out on the grounds, there is a stag strutting around. He doesn't seem to be terribly afraid of running into humans though. He's more concerned with sticking his face in the gardens to try nibbling various plants, and eating things that have fallen off the trees in the orchard. Gasp! The hoofbeast senses her subtle movements!
[She turns down the volume. But only a little. The bush continues to rustle.]

The catbeast seems to be talking a lot about what her plans are, so Prongs decides the best course of action is probably to turn and eat some leaves off of the bush she's hiding in. Mmm.]

So consumed is she by these thoughts that she glances up quickly enough to see that there's a stag standing only seven or so feet away from her.

If stags could smile without looking a bit terrifying, he probably would. Instead, he nods at her. It will probably look kind of curious, since he's definitely looking right at her as he nods, but oh well.

The animal hardly seems startled, so she takes a few more careful steps forward, astonished by how tame the creature is.]
It's been a stressful week,
[she confides quietly, stopping just a foot or so away. Tentatively, she extends a hand to the stag's face, palm up, and waits for some kind of approval to touch.]

He stares for a second, not sure how to communicate that she can touch him. Then, he bows his head down, careful not to smack her with his antlers.

He hesitates at first, not sure if he should approach him...but then decides to do exactly that. He turns and walks in Padfoot's direction, because really there's no better time than now to confront him about all of this, man to man. ...Or, well. Stag to dog.]

He's been keeping to himself since the event ended, and left only because he was starting to go crazy. He isn't the type to run away from things, but this confrontation is one he'd rather not have.]
