ow ow ow ow.
I made my election day rum cake today. The alchohol gets cooked out, but Jesse and I shared a stiff drink of tea before going to the polls to vote. I took a hard look at the candidates and decided to go for the one who is the least socialist.

Very local stuff. State representative and something else and this guy named Allen. I know who I voted for and why, but I don't actually know for sure what all of the races are for! I know, that's bad!
But then again, I'm working full-time, teaching a class, raising a kid, and keeping the house clean! When I was a full-time student, I had an easy way of keeping up on politics.
"Hey Isaac, who are you voting for and why?"

Hehehe. That's true. If I ever am somehow uninformed, I can just ask him. However, I do not believe I'll ever actually BE uninformed since I live with him! ;o) I like that, though. I wasn't exactly uninformed before I married him but now I am far less than even that. Of course, it helped that I had an economics class after we got married, too. =o)

The big question: Do you and Isaac ever disagree on political issues? I know you are in lockstep on social issues. It is interesting how people also do shift sometimes a little as they get older.
