I feel like a whore. I just went to Ye Olde Greystone's Place and applied for a job. Then, I looked around the new store. I immediately regretted applying, but need money drastically ( Read more... )

That's the old lady who stole our recycling bins and dug through our trash. That's it, I'm waiting for her in the alley. I'll show her what a broom looks like. Just kidding.

I felt dirty when I applied at the Wax Museum. It's what made me run home and apply for graduate school.

Well, thankfully I don't think I'd be working with that lady. She works in the Habitat place.

I actually have an interview already. The old English dude called me this afternoon. So, maybe, I will have a job as of tomorrow. I don't know whether to be excited or scared. I wonder whether they pay better or worse than Greystones...

One thing that scares me is when I went into the old Greystones place, it was silent as death. And there was only one guy in there. If I have to work in there by myself, with no TV or radio or any noise whatsoever, I will go insane.

I think it would be a little weird to work in the same building but have it be completely different. Was the Habitat store completely quiet? I have never been into any of those stores. I hear they are a nightmare to work for but hey, a job is a job. And hopefully, they will pay decently. Good luck on your interview. Let me know how it goes.

I, myself, will be applying at some fine retail stores out at the outlets. I am getting tired of this having no money crap.

Yeah, it was a little weird, because they painted most of it a weird pinkish-red color. Otherwise, it was the old place, and they even had some books!

The Habitat place wasn't the dead silent one, that was the old Greystone's building. Habitat was freaky in it's own way, as in weird ceramic gnomes and fairies (I'm not joking) who stare at you while you browse. Glad I won't be working in THAT building.

I'll let you know how it goes. I too am eager to see what they will pay...I put $7.00 an hour for salary request, but we'll see.
