A Cornwall Hiking Holiday (Part 1, the touristic one)

Jun 28, 2012 23:42

The first part  of this posting will be a very normal touristic description of a holiday. The second part (in a few days) will be one with very big slashy Pros goggles!

The last time I had been to GB (London) I was 17 years old - and that's really a long time ago ;-).

Now I have been to Cornwall hiking for about 12 days and it was great! If you want ( Read more... )

Oh, these are great. I was in Cornwall the week before - what a pity it wasn't a week later.

I love love love your "how to tell the difference" pair of pictures. How much of the path did you do? I walked a few miles of it, and now I want to do all the rest.

Do I guess from the title ("part 1") that there is more to come?

(ETA -- PS: sorry, Luka, this first appeared as a reply to you, which I am sure I didn't actually do -- I blame LJ)

I did only parts of the path, a bit in the South, West and North. We visited two big English Gardens too, Prideaux Place, St. Ives, Falmouth... it was so much to see!

The "how to tell the difference" pics - I was sitting outside a cafe and I was very surprised that the English women were wearing airy dresses and sandals, and it wasn't really hot outside.

Part 2 will be more fun, I think *rubs her hands*

"what a pity it wasn't a week later"... I think many English Pros fans are probably living near London, aren't they? I am dreaming of a meeting of English fans and *thinks about the number* about six German Pros fans eventually in London. Might be great fun ;-)

I think there probably are lots of Pros fans near London. I am not one! But if I knew that there was a group of German fans all going to be there on a particular day, I am sure I could make it there...

I was lucky the day in St. Ives was sunny, the photos are nicer that way. I thought it looked really cute the way the people were building their windbreaks ;-)

(Cream tea *was* the death of my waist ;-)
