A Cornish Pros Love Story (Part 2 of my Cornwall Hiking Post)

Jul 04, 2012 21:27

I was hiking in Cornwall for several days. The third day I was reminded of B/D while I had a look in a shop window. It was the moment when I had an idea - a Cornish love story between Bodie and Doyle. Everything you look at in this post is Cornish (except my words ;-).  Let's start!

A warning in advance:

I was giggling already very much as I was choosing the pics and so I thought there might be one or two with a similar taste ;-).

I thought a lot about the third cow. At first it was Macklin for me, but it made more sense with betty.

Oh wow! What a treat that was!

I've got a big grin on my face now - very clever idea, thank you!

I had a great grin on my face too while taking those photos - it was so much fun, and it was a bit hard to stifle a laugh as I was walking with some other people ;-)

Oh, it's morning for you - I forgot you aren't exactly living next door ;-). Thanks for your comment, chuckling is a reaction I like when I am posting something ;-)

Oh my god. This is utterly priceless. Brilliantly done! Falling about at "like rabbits" and the moving parts.

But, inquiring minds want to know, whatever were you doing, taking picture of clothes banks?

And I would note that there are no pictures of, um, all that Cornish cream, only I think we can all supply that for ourselves.

Thanks so much for this - wonderful.

You mean the container for clothes, don't you? It was placed next to the Jamaica Inn, where Daphne du Maurier lived. I was (completely unsuspiciously) wandering around taking pictures of the smuggler's inn which was *really* old, and I just took one more pic ;-)

The whole thing started on the third day in Cornwall and it was the yawning figure which first made me think of Bodie ;-).

I have a pic of Cream Tea in part 1 of my post (the ordinary one, without slash)
