Hi, I just found you on homeofpoi.com.

I live in Vegas and am extremely interested in learning every aspect of fire play, spinning poi, fire dance, etc. that I can and I was wondering if you knew of anyone who would be willing to teach me or who gives classes on the subjects. I've been pretty bummed, as I feel really drawn to the art and it seems hard to find you guys in this city!

If you could give me any advice or point me in the right direction, I would REALLY appreciate it.

we're a hard lot to find. unfortunately there aren't really any gatherings or many groups around. i'd be happy to teach you poi if you'd like. i'll forewarn you that my schedule is fairly busy, so it's sometimes hard to catch me. but i am more than happy to meet up sometime. i also have a few friends that i spin with and we have a dance company, so we sometimes get gigs. we'd love to have any new spinners to audition and join us.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'd love for you to teach me some basics whenever you have the time. I understand the whole busy schedule thing, fortunately I personally have all the time in the world. So chances are, if you have time, I have time. Just let me know whenever you're available.

I'd love to audition eventually when I actually have something worth auditioning. haha.
