a very very close friend of mine back in kansas city is dying of a brain tumor. the doctors have given him about a week. i'd go see him, but he's unconscious, has been for a while, and it doesn't look like he's waking up.

i feel like there is a black hole somewhere inside my chest. its only wednesday, and its been one of the longest weeks of my

my daddy's in town. i love that. but its very emotionally stressful, cuz i have practically nothing good to tell him, and that just reminds me how much of a failure i am lately.

on a more positive note though, my car is fixed! and i have a job interview on thursday! i'm so excited!

so i went to an '80s prom this weekend. first time i've ever had a date to prom. it was awesome. the guys even got us corsages!

we also tried to go to john's soccer game on sunday, but we ended up completely at the wrong park and missed it! but we hung out in a park for a bit, swung on the swings and such. it was a very fun day. awesome weekend!

i had an awesome memorial day weekend! kyle's out of town with swanger, so i got the suburban for the weekend, and greatness happened. let's recap, shall we?

yeah, department of water and power turned off our water for almost two days because our landlord is inept. so, no sinks, no showers, no washing machine, and NO TOILETS for almost two days. we weren't here much. but now the water is back on!
