The B1G weekend
Last Saturday, singles from different Christian congregations gathered together for the CCF B1G (Be 1 with God) Singles Retreat in Nasugbu, Batangas. The experience is far more better than I imagined.
So Saturday at around 6 a.m., we had to go to St. Francis Square to ride the bus going to Nasugbu in Chateau Royale. It was a bit hectic seeing I had to go directly after my shift to the meeting place but it didn't matter that I didn't have sleep. I was too excited for the coming days and what was in stored for me.
When we got to Chateau Royale in Nasugbu, we were assigned different breakout groups for different modules. I was in module 1 and this is my breakout group (l-r : Vicky, Sharon, Liz, me and Eliza).
We sat together during the messages and talks and we did our group discussions as well. We even sat together for lunch time.
Several of the CCF pastors were there to discuss the messages about the Gospel. One of them, Brother Tony Dela Paz elicited the most number of laughter during his messages. Super kwela talaga!
During the 3rd day, there was a Dedication/Baptism ceremony for those who want to public declare their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. I feel blessed to be one of them , and so is my former D-groupmate, Wella (lady in the middle).
Several memebers of the music ministry helped out in the praise and worship songs---which I really enjoyed ^_^.I love how God uses music to serenade His people :).
A lot of hard working men and women in Christ helped and volunteered for this event, including a good friend of mine, Coney (lady on the left most side , 1st picture, standing).
Another great thing about it is, I had some of my friends there with me like Bang (D-groupmate), Teacher Grace (2nd and 4th respectively), Teacher Ian and the other volunteers of BSK ministry. All in all, it has been such a memorable and amazing weekend. It really can't be put to words. God willing, I would be serving in the B1G 6 retreat next year ^_^. Can't wait!!!
