i believe this is the first valentine's day EVER that won't turn out to be a complete failure.  i still think it's a stupid "holiday" that no one should ever have to celebrate.  if you need this day to show your love for somebody then i feel sorry for you.  obviously you are trying way too hard, and you need to compensate for something. enjoy

what if you just like using excuses to show affection? I absolutely love fauning over people with as small an excuse as "because I thought of you." to me, holidays are just a silly day to go a step further.

I do however agree with you that it's lame when people seem to think that because it's a holiday, that's the designated time and thus the only time to actually make any sort of attempt affection towards a person you care about. holidays are there just to celebrate something. they become stupid when people feel it's okay to be lazy every day except the holiday.

I like roses and other flowers all year round o__o
