All last weekend I was in New Orleans. And I adored it. New Orleans is no New York City; NYC will always hold a special place in my heart. I have a definitive love affair with NYC and it is my favorite city on Earth. But New Orleans is different, something even more special. The same friend who is madly in love with the same book, Blue Like Jazz, gave me the book, Perks of Being a Wallflower last year. It's a wonderful book about beauty, life, and growing up, and I HIGHLY recommend it to you, for I think you will fall just as in love with it as both her and I did. =]

If you can't get your hands on a copy, I have one you can borrow. =]
