Tonight is one of those nights that I'm just really lucky to have a piano I can play, an empty house that won't mind my singing after midnight, and a place to put my beer. I just wish my stomach would stop being pissed off at me.

I just found out that the only machines allowed to connect to Apple's network are Macs. I'm not sure how low-level it goes, but if you try to plug in a machine running Windows (even using Bootcamp or Parallels on an Intel Mac) you get denied any and all Internet access. My grandparents spent most of the day over at my mom's house today. The amazing part: my grandpa actually played Nintendo with us. ALL DAY. There is a bowling game that comes with the new system which does a pretty decent job of mimicking the actual act of bowling. This intrigues me. I really don't have the level of scientific knowledge about things like transmitters and receptors to understand everything about this stuff, and my gut reaction is that it's not a good idea to mess with natural processes, but it sure sounds tempting. Very tempting.
