Well some how today...Snakey died. My son was in tears for hours. He's never had to deal with a death of a pet before.

Hubby and I went out to the farm house, looking in vain for a damn new garter snake to put in with Lena. There wasn't a snake to be found....but I did hit 2 moles with the lawn mower though.

I love her to death already. She's so nice and calm.

I wasn't crazy about snakes at all until the kids got their garter snakes. I was the one that ended up taking care of them and falling in love with them.

She's a little sweetie. I have to restrain myself from picking her up every time I go past her tank.
