This was FANTASTIC. I love Judy's POV so much. Just absolutely amazing. And how it wasn't the films that got her to change her perception of her daughter's relationship, but their interaction -- brilliant.

This was lovely. It's not often that we read a story about Judy's point of view, and it was something else. While I laughed at almost everything, I also remembered that there are a lot of people who think that way and not all of them are willing to or capable of changing their point of view. But this was great, I loved it :)
I HAVE to say, though, that "Show me Love" or as I know it "Fucking Amal" was the first lesbian movie I ever saw, and saw it countless of times, and it was the movie that helped me figure out how I felt and who I was. It was awesome seeing it being mentioned here :)

I think my stories all tend to err on the side of optimism.

I know it as "Fucking Amal" too, but I figured that Rachel would use the family friendly name. :) It's one of my favorites.
