Title: The V Card

Rating: PG
Word Count: 402
Description: A short scene inspired by "The Power of Madonna" (no spoilers though): Rachel gives Quinn her v card.
Like, a literal card.
It was the size of a regular business card. There was a picture in the corner, and Quinn almost thought that Rachel had handed her a driver's license, except that the card was pink and the picture was of the two of them, taken in a photobooth on their third date. Next to the picture, there was black lettering which said, "I, Rachel Berry, hereby resolve to surrender my virginity to Quinn Fabray at a location and time to be mutually agreed upon at a later date." Underneath the text, Rachel had signed her name.
Oh, yeah, and it was laminated.
"Um," Quinn said.
"So that it would be official," Rachel stated matter-of-factly.
"Uh." Quinn stared at the card in her hand. She turned the card over. "Oh. And you had it... notarized."
"Of course," Rachel replied promptly. "It seemed only fitting for such a momentous occasion."
"Momentous occasion?"
"Well, the prelude to the momentous occasion," Rachel amended. "The momentous occasion being, of course, the night of our first coupling which, as you can see, I haven't picked yet. I thought that it would be presumptuous of me to select a date and time without checking your availability first."
"Presumptuous," Quinn repeated weakly.
"I know that your birthday is coming up, and while it may seemed cliched, classics are classics for a reason."
"Classics," Quinn echoed.
"However, although I have no qualms with bestowing you with the gift of my womanhood on your birthday, it occurs to me that you may not want to have your birthday overshadowed."
"Overshadowed."
"Yes. It might overshadow future birthdays, since you'll have to share your birthday with the celebration of our Lovemaking Anniversary."
"Lovemaking Anniversary."
"Yes. And why are you repeating everything I say?"
"Because, Berry," Quinn sought recovery with a sharp inhalation of breath. "You've short-circuited my brain with your lunacy! Are you completely insane?"
"Well," Rachel huffed. "You don't have to accept it if you don't want to."
"No, it's not that," Quinn said hurriedly. "It's just... well, did you have to give it to me right now?"
From their seats, the other ten glee club members plus Mr. Schue (looking more than a little unnerved) watched on, the emotions on each of their faces ranging from perturbation to arousal to shock to amusement to downright horror.
"What has been seen," Kurt said numbly. "Cannot be unseen."
