Just seen a photo of Christopher Eccleston with a Holocaust survivor as part of the memorial day yesterday. It speaks volumes of a man who has compassion and humility written all over him. Ha! Thanks for the message you sent to me on Tumblr. It means a lot coming from someone who's actually met him. When you see him talking to someone, in unposed pictures, he just looks like he's radiating respect and attention toward whoever he's talking to.

Is it okay if I answer your message publicly On Tumblr? (I'm not sure who it is that retracted offensive remarks though. My media-reading tends to be very focused on particular interests.)

In case you're wondering which of Christopher's peers made an offensive remark it was Bemedict Cumberbatch, who appeared on US television about ethnic minorities. I found it insensItive particularly it reminded me of what happened during the apartheid regime in South Africa and Martin Luther King fought so hard during the late 60s.

Two old gentlemen who I knew liberated a lot of people from the concentration camps who are sadly no longer with us who buttoned up their emotions after the war. My late grandfather was also a prison guard during the Nuremberg trails of those Nazis who carried out the atrocities.
