Apparently my parents made a mistake on my birth certificate...
I just got this message from one of the listservs i'm on telling me that the administrator had changed my name to Mika and if that was incorrect, I had to resubscribe
How lame is that?
does this person go around changing all the names she doesn't recognize as correct?
how is that professional or respectful of diversity?
sheesh....
So I sent HER an email telling her my name was correct would she change it back, thanks.
Maybe I should have addressed her as Becky, instead of Becca, because Becca is not the standard diminutive of Rebecca....
I know I'm being sensitive and hateful about this, but... why?
