You happened into phlebotomy. You (seem to) enjoy linguistics and foreign language, and have for some time. Why don't you stick with what you enjoy; translate! Knowing a foreign language well is incredibly useful and a great talent to have. Plus, it opens a huge swath of jobs to you. You might even enjoy them more than phlebotomy at a plasma center.

Coffee and Computers don't really compliment each other, either. ;P

The problem with language/linguistics is that I lack the knowledge to really use it in place of what I do already. But you are still right.

What I should really do is find out exactly what I would need to use it in place of what I do already. I know that I need to be at least fluent. :/

It would be nice to grow my hair back, stop shaving (just shaved and I always hate it) and not be bound to paperwork for at least six years of my life.

Unfortunately, I do not qualify for pell grants unless I am a full-time student. That would mean I have to take out more loans to continue my trek through languages. Hmm...

And as it now is, I can't even qualify for student loans (except for maybe those ridiculous Chase loans which I know not to use anymore).

Yeah :(
Here's my take; Amelia has studied for 10 years and is still corrected by natives and has been employed full-time while finishing her masters degree for quite some time.

If nothing else, make sure to tell the reserves about your inclination for language and the number of languages you have studied; it can be taken into consideration for areas that you can be trained in.

Why can't you get Stafford loans? GPA?
