RP for chloeas

It's definitely been a strange few weeks around the Talon apartment and, well, in Smallville in general. More than usual. Chloe wasn't talking to Clark, of that Lois could be certain. And Clark just got that pouty 'I don't want to talk about this' look on his face whenever she mentioned Chloe to him, so clearly, there was something going on

Chloe has been spending most of her days and even some nights at the Watchtower and while she does, technically still live with Lois, it's not often that they get to spend time together these days, in fact, Chloe is surprised to see Lois home at all when she opens the door, not only home, but the whole place smells like apple and cinnamon and for a second, she almost expects Clark to show up from behind the kitchen counter.

"Hey, Lo," she looks around for a second then raises her eyebrows at her cousin, "I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"

"Nope! You are not allowed to interrupt your own girl's night in with the cousin!" Lois says cheerfully, patting the cushions beside her on the sofa. "You're right on time."

All she can do is raise her eyebrows, only now noticing the donuts on the coffee table, "right, I'm glad I'm on time for something we didn't plan..."

Chloe knows Lois all too well, there is something behind all this and she just hopes it's not something like 'sorry I forgot my pink sock in the the washing machine with your white clothes'.

But she will give her cousin the benefit of the doubt and indulge her for now by joining her on the couch.

"So what is the occasion?"

It is entirely possible there may be a laundry related surprise for Chloe in the near future. It's just Lois hasn't realized it yet.

"What, I'm not allowed to want to spend time with my darling cousin who I somehow never see even though we live together?"

Chloe's face falls a little at the information, but she will do her best to force a soft smile on her lips, "I guess it kinda does, how are things going between you two anyway?"
