MAJOR Bitchfest.. or "How the Featured Game went"

This weekend was Featured Game here in Austin.

Now there have been a number of issues involved with this on an OOC level. The problems that we've had about this game have been numerous but it kinda boiled down to this: Most of the Austinites didnt WANT this game to happen here. Why do you think Houston basically got us to quit playing? So much cheating going on in that city. I had people asking me OOC to have Moonsinger take out Lee's Silver Fang. It was hard enough not having an OOC reason why she moved (she wouldn't have). I had ST's end both characters because I hated Houston so much. Matt gave me my really awesome ending for Moonsinger. David (my hubby) gave me the ending for Katherine. 5 years of playing those characters and I quit playing them because of Houston. I pretty much lost friends over a stupid game. It pretty well sucked.

Anyways, I'm really sorry that you went through all of that. It is supposed to be fun and not a bunch of cheating, but some people just can't play a game without cheating. Ridiculous.

I am sorry to hear that Matthew and his wife have issues with me. I have none with them.

Perhaps things will improve over time. If not, I will simply do my best to stay out of their way. Drama is not my thing.

I wouldnt give it a second thought, mom. Right now they are running around accusing several different cam couples of not being able to seperate OOC and IC relations.. note the irony. so at this point anything they say is further proof that they are full of shit.

Still.. Im dissappointed in myself for defending him earlier when others were making remarks about how they are treating people/handling things cause this is completely contrary to the person I've known for 10+ years..
