For sharing this dear. What a horrible story, and sadly, I bet outside of Canada it gets very little coverage. God forbid we try to violence and gun control her in the US. Over the weekend, the murder rate in the city where my suburbs spring forth from reached new record levels.

I can't fathom a premeditated desire to murder. I can't fathom how someone can take out their rage and frustration on an innocent, be it a spouse or a child. So many things have gotten out of control in society, and I am at a loss as to how to fix it without going backward.

"As you may have noticed, I never mentioned this shooter by name because he is not the one we should remember. May you rest in peace: Geneviève Bergeron, Hélène Colgan, Nathalie Croteau, Barbara Daigneault, Anne-Marie Edward, Maud Haviernick, Barbara Maria Klueznick, Maryse Laganière, Maryse Leclair, Anne-Marie Lemay, Sonia Pelletier, Michèle Richard, Annie Saint-Arneault, and Annie Turcotte. I'll wear my white ribbon today, and be grateful I'm able to study in peace."You are so ( ... )

May their souls rest in peace.

Thank you, for sharing that story.

This may not be the post to say this, but whoever the three of you are, all 3 of you are nice, intelligent women (atleast, I can tell that!!) , and I am honoured to have you on my Friends list. Your posts add a little more substance to my day, and make me pause and think.Thank you, for that.

You are very sweet to say so. I've enjoyed your LJ as well. Especially the post about all the food! Mmmmm...

Please invite others to come by. I know I speak for the other girls in that it makes for a more exciting blog if others put in their 0.02. It can't always be one giant lurve fest.

Hi Girls,
shri directed me to your site...really moved by your post abt the shooting.Doesnt make sense na.. all this senseless killing..stirs up a storm of emotions.. rage ..hurt.. pain..helplessness.Best to let it all go all.. the negative ones.. hold onto the love the smiles the departed souls brought into your life. Some of us need to wear the white ribbon..like wearing our heart on our sleeves...rest of us grieve nonetheless silently for all the senseless violence in our world.Lets just spread love peace and Joy .
Love n light
