I totally agree with you, that we should respect religious icon's. Society as a whole, seems to have forgotten the meaning of respect. People think of respect "me" first, rather than respect "others". Curious, do you see what the wax museum did as anything different, than Disney putting out a nativity scene using Mickey and the gang?

I would never ever have a Disney representation of the Nativity in my house since I find it inappropriate and tacky but I guess I find it slightly less offensive since it uses fictional characters. Real-life people, especially celebrities who don't seem particularly religious people, certainly don't seem appropriate for this.
