Ah, the powerpuffwomen are back! YAY! :D
I had started missing your posts!

I love, love, books. But the problem is, once I get immersed in the world of books, it is hard to get back to real life. I start dreaming endlessly, spinning stories of my own, and desperately wishing that I had the time to write. The world of books is so enchanting, magical!*sigh*

I just finished reading "The Life of Pi". What a fantastic book! A book that I will remember most of my life. :)

Have heard about “Reading Lolita in Tehran”, but have yet to read it.

The book that I am reading currently is, "The Blind Assasin" by Margaret Atwood. Another book that has be spellbound. Oh, and it has so many 'Quotable Quotes'!!

Another book on my to-read list is, "The House of Blue Mangoes" by David Davidar.

A nice post! Just what I needed to read! :)

It's funny you bring this up Buttercup, we gave an anthology of children's stories to my friend for her baby. I decided I had to inscribe the book, and I used a quote from Shakespeare's "The Tempest":
Knowing I lov'd my books, he furnish'd me
From mine own library with volumes that
I prize above my dukedom.

Isn't that wonderful?

This must be one of the reasons we share such a kinship, for I always had my nose in a book as well. Either a book or an album jacket- LOL. I too loved reference volumes, as I know we have discussed. So does my son. You know, if you can wait a few years, I am sure he'll want to go out with you. ;)

*waves to shri*

I must come up with some profound thoughts for these pages.
