This is so freakin' lame. England is really cold and wet and not at all like I thought it would be. And I can hardly understand what people are saying half the time, they don't pronounce things normal like we do in America, and anyway all they ever tell me is that everything is gonna be alright and I'll be with kids just like me.

Well, I'm from Germany, so I know what it's like to be far from home. Don't worry, the U.K. isn't cold and wet all the time~ although I can see the difference between Los Angeles and here.

I don't know about your roommates, but I've heard there's a rather confrontational first year in the Gryffindor house. I hope you wouldn't have to beat him up if you're in Gryffindor.
