well, isn't dandy that our president is letting everyone out in the dust..they are making things even worse now. it is really sad and ridiculous! And did you know, the weather service warned them about a 'what if' scenario if a category 5 hit, this would happen to New Orleans, and NO one listened to them. If it is not a war on terror related, then I guess, they shouldn't be concerned. *rolleyes ( ... )

I was watching FOX news and they were refering to a New Orleans news article from 2002 that pretty much predicted what happened. I just think to deny that some of this wasn't political is looking the other way. It happened here in California (don't know if I told you about it today or not) with the earthquakes. We had ours in 1989 and we are STILL trying to rebuild from it and we are still paying for it. LA had theirs a few years later and they are all fixed up. It's political. Fix southern Cali not northern. Here, wipe out poor folks, displace them then go in and build a more rich neighborhood.

I understand that the Hurricane is an act of nature, but the levee broke. It needed to be repaired for years, nobody acted upon it. Then you have news reporters who can get in there, hell, Harry Connick, Jr. was in there reporting and your telling me you couldn't get some kind of search and rescue up and running until almost a week later????? I don't know, it's so friggin' shady and upsetting....The richest country in the world....sickening
