I was informed today that the red hand prints around the Cal Poly campus (which, for those of you who don't attend Poly, represent places where women have been raped) were removed. It was done because some faculty members felt that it "tainted" Cal Poly's image! (Surprisingly right before students parents came to visit the campus) This is shit! So

You know what would be a better idea, seriously? Get the name of the president of Cal Poly and his or her address. Online petitions unfortunately don't really change anything--their real benefit is just getting the word out to people.

I think that actions like the handprints can be very powerful.
