No, I have not attended UW. However, I can answer some of your questions. It is a good university that offers a quality education; of course, some programs are better than others but it's a strong school. I may eventually end up enrolled there myself.
You don't have to be a resident to enroll but obviously tuition is higher for out-of-state students and admission is currently very competitive--if you're hoping to start this fall, you may actually be too late already. Depending upon how far along you are in your education already, you might want to consider taking some courses at one our community colleges first.
Yeah, I know that I can attend as on out of state resident. But I am enrolled in a community college down here for right now. Then I would want to transfer, either up to UW of stay here. But you know that I have always wanted to live in Seattle. So, for part of my research I need to see how long you need to be a resident of Washington to get the resident rate. Also, when I transfer for my BA and my MA if I were to transfer up to UW then I need to check out their MFT program. And see how it rates against Cal-State East Bay. Do the whole Pros vs. Cons kinda thing.......A lot to think about.
