from various things we know about the previous owners from the rescue centre, and how she acts, like shes always expecting to get hit. shes getting more confident everyday though :-)

Usually, I'm not that keen on rats....but Neil is so adorable! Who couldn't love her little face? ♥
As for Surf [I'm a total dog person], she looks like a little angel! I can't understand how or why some people mistreat animals like that...especially dogs, after all, they're 'man's best friend' :( But at least she has a happy home with you now...and she'll definitely have a lovely life now!

awww, yep, neil is adorable! i dont know what id have done if she didnt recover! :-(
im a total dog person too, i think id love *any* dog :-) but surf is definatley special. the people who got her from the rescue centre last, had her 5 months, and aparently kept her in a cage and couldnt house-train her. shes been here 1 and a half weeks and shes not been to the loo a single time in the house.. she gets really scared when shes out and leans to your leg shaking, and looks like shes gonna be hit most of the time, but shes a lot happier each day, she'll soon know shes safe :-)
