About eating.

I believe it is possible to skip eating at all. Try to have big carbohydrates (half to whole cake) at evening very close to sleep and not to eat next day until you settle.

My experience with not having to break the fast early tells me that you can go for six-eight hours walking and doing mild-to-high intensity jobs before any unwanted effects will show themselves.
