This was just perfect - everything I love about Snape and Peter. The way they bounce off each other, the way they know each other, it's divine.
I was absolutely swept away by this fic, caught up in the world like I was sitting there at the table with them, and Peter's "I was never..." and the last line just makes me infinitely sad.
This is every inch the three-dimensional Peter Pettigrew that we are not allowed to see in the books, and Snape is bitter and caustic and cautious and ugly and wonderful. I love this fic so much. I'm very in awe of your writing, and your grasp on Peter's characer. *goes off to rec*
