Change of Venue...
So the Big Day is almost over. The movers came and moved the vast majority of my stuff to the new place. So now my home is full of many boxes a condition which I hope to rectify soon. Tuckered...
So I spent the day as I have been spending all my spare time. That is tearing out carpet, NASTY wood and REALLY truly ugly tile (I really should have gotten a picture of it before I pulled it up). The other REALLY odd thing? I keep finding pennies painted onto the floor under the carpet. Does anyone know what that's about ( Read more... ) -

So the closing is done, the documents have completed registration with the state, and the place is officially mine!
So welcome me to the land of home ownership. So I suppose rather than it's MINE! I should say... It's owns me!
Now to tear up carpet, get estimates to refinish floors, paint, do electrical work...sheesh. -

Busy busy busy...But in good ways :)
L and I went away this past weekend just to get away. We went to a ski resort area, when there was no snow :) It made for a very relaxing weekend, and some nice needed down time.
