Catching up, redux...

My last LJ entry was actually rhetorical. I use LJ so seldom, I tend to forget that it's a two-way medium. I really didn't think anyone was reading anyway. I'm glad that people responded, it just surprised me. But, since there are actual answers to the questions, I figure maybe I should post them.

Sometimes stuff happens and I get a "Peter would have enjoyed that" or "that sounds like Peter", but mostly (with our cast turn-over ratio) I end up with "did you ever meet Peter?" and that makes me a sad panda. I understand the conditions of your departure and the terms of your future return, so I understand that there probably isn't a chance in hell of you coming back unless things change. It still makes me sad that there are now generations of rich weirdoes who have never even heard the name Peter Popovich. I still count you as a friend, although we don't really talk that much anymore, so please feel free to *ping* at me anytime.

Folks read a lot more into my departure than I ever intended. Doing Rocky stopped being fun. Other things came up, and they turned out to be fun, so I did them instead. It was a surprisingly drama-free decision.

I still love Rocky, and my Weirdo friends. The wheel turns, things change all the time, but I'm hardly sitting on my hands. After all, there is life after Rocky.

I'm glad we both still count each other as friends. I know things have been craptastic for you lately, and I hope they improve soon.
