Welcome to having the doc's run your life. I'm really glad you were lucky. I was really lucky and they found my diabetes at a routine check up. Getting used to the new lifestyle can be rough but over time it becomes not so bad. I was in the same boat I never felt sick and thought I was doing pretty well I mean I did not have the perfect diet but I thought I was eating fairly healthy. When ever you feel the need to crab about Dr's and lifestyle changes I'm here.
