You know I always talk to you about everything, and I hope you know you can do the same with me. I'm sorry about the stroke, and I understand what you mean about trying to resolve issues with those loved ones you have that are suffering from similar memory problems. I hope your mom isn't put through too much suffering, and it's only natural that you should feel something through all this, whether she put you and your siblings through hell or not. I know it's strange sometimes, to suddenly having caring feelings about a relative you haven't had in awhile. But she's your mom. And you are such a wonderful person and care so much for others that I'd probably think it was funny if you didn't feel some type of sympathy for what she must be going through.
