I try to keep the material exchange at Xmas as low-key as possible.  But that said, I did do a significant amount of shopping today.  When I was finished I realized that this year all of the gifts that I bought fall into two broad categories:

Feel free to send any or all of those gifts my way. ;)

I just sent some Puerto Rican Rum and a Baby Jebus buttplug for the monkey. You gotta pacify em or they tear the place up.
Resending your tequila, this time upgraded to Patron Silver.
Cheers!

Those are the best kinds of gifts! :)

My gifts fall in two categories, too.

1) Stuff I found on clearance cause I'm broke
2) Stuff I made cause I'm broke

;)

...it came without ribbons, it came without tags, it came without packages, boxes, or bags...

It's become a cliche (which is sometimes because it's so true), but the best kind of gifts really are those that don't cost money.

Do you ever send the two together? Mind altering substances AND mind altering media. What??? I'm greedy...

Absolutely! That's my message to friends and loved ones:

GET FUCKED UP, HOPPED UP, and ESCAPE!

That is my true gift--the excuse/permission/reason to do what they really want to do.

Even better might be sharing a bottle and a movie, music, or book together. It's so hard to get together and spend time with everybody, but to me those are the greatest moments/memories of the holidays.
