Every culture and every manifestation of human society has some type of personification of the inherent evil that accompanies human existence and sapience, so it must be true on some level. Whatever you want to call it, I'm being temped by it in more ways than one

See, I was all gonna comment on this that Buddhism essentially doesn't believe in evil, and possibly even make a 'devil's advocate' joke, but given that eveybody else who commented simply wanted to give you a hug...it kinda doesn't work as well any more.
