I must be hormonal or something, because following the previous session of angst, I was overcome by a wave of fandom love at work. So I decided to buy myself some ink, and get down to business with the new set of nib pens I bought in Japan.

Ooooooooohhhh woooowww!!!!!!!!!! What is this "I can't panel" bollocks, I'm totally envious!!! It's a talent to be able to draw only two trees and have your reader know almost exactly where it is meant to be!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!

*laugh* Well given all of Konoha is practically filled with trees, I don't think it'd be too hard. (No, actually they're in Cloud Country! Tricked you!! :P)

I don't know- it seem in all the doujin I've read, they seem to fit a lot more content and dialogue into the one page. And they have more interesting angles and all that. I just try and align everything too much; can't let go enough to just let them overlap and such.

What do you do??
I wish there were a tutorial or something on comic layout; maybe I should ask Elli if there are any basic rules or anything. Maybe I should practice more... >_>;;

Well, it looks perfect to me!! I always wish I could get more content on a page; then it looks too squashed. Don't ask me; I make up panels as I go. Usually it works. XD

This is AWESOME! While you claim to not know panelling and perspective (which I struggle with too as an aspiring comic artist), trust me when I say, you have done a GOOD job with this! I believe it to be excellent panel use! And you art is solid and consistent and you even used screentones properly!

If you ever wanted to do a doujin collab that involved KakaIru, I would be more than willing to assist you! :D I LOVE that pairing!

And hooray for more KakaIru love! Some kind of comic is right up there on my three-foot-long To-Do List (once I learn not to take six hours on a single picture, because I'm the World's Slowest Artist that way); but I'll definitely keep it in mind! Likewise, if you ever end up wanting any help or anything, I'd be glad to lend a hand. :)

Me, interesting? *supresses noises of disbelief* I hate to disappoint in that respect, but it'd be my honour! Mind if I reciprocate the favour? Although Bleach isn't quite my cup of tea, I notice you've got some very funky work up there!
