I'm one whole week behind.  Fortunately Band Camp and the 10- or 11- hour days it causes are behind me.  I'm going to to really try to catch up on my practicing, and start exercising again.  Praise God.  Amen.

Yes, you read correctly, I am the private flute instructor at my old High School!  Praise God!  I worked Band Camp all this week, and it was great.  I start teaching sectionals and private lessons on the 7th, and will continue to do so until school gets out in May.  I'm getting paid $25 for a 1 1/2 hr. sectional/masterclass and then $20/hr. for ( Read more... )

So far all my scales and arpeggios are caught up.   I also spent about 10-20 minutes working on High E.  It went well, so praise God (lous Le Seigneur) for that.  One day, when I'm really inspired, I;m going to write a poem in French, and probably won't translate it.  One of those 'for me only' things.  Nothing too personal, but w/e

Another failed day, but tomorrow I'm going to go up to the school early and probably stay all day.  I'll have to play through all 3 days requirements. Oh well.  Good night, and Thank GOd for failed attempts to ruin my life (this is not related to the 40 days of practicing at all.  Promise.).

Today was my first day not fulfilling all the requirements.  Oh well, tomorrow is a new day. TTYL. Thank God for second chances!

I have survived the first two weeks.  Hoo-rah.  Today hasn't gone well, no time and I'm tired.  I'm about to go play through my stuff for the night.  I'm really tired, but BAND CAMP IS TOMORROW!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!  I'm gonna go now.  Thank You God for new beginnings!
