'The New Lisa' Experiment Pre-Show

One more post before I go to bed.

When I was deciding to embark upon Operation 'New Lisa', I had forgotten that this sort of began exactly one week before my birthday, when I was in Florida. I did something that, surprisingly to me, many who knew me were shocked by.

Thanks! I thought I would be too, but it really wasn't that bad. I also picked a spot on my body where there was a lot of, shall I say, meat, and fewer nerve endings, so I'm sure that made it easier.

Essentially I worked it up in my mind to be the worst pain I've ever felt (and I've never given birth), so it ended up being far less than I feared.

I doubt I will get another one (although I was thinking about adding my Mom and grandpa's birthdates to it somewhere (my Irish side of the family). It's just something I wanted to do before I was so old it would be seen as ridiculous (although maybe I'm already past that age, who knows?).

Yes, a lot has happened to me in the past week, not all of it good. But I'm trying to stay positive and hopeful, which over the last couple days has been hard. :)
