Are you at all fond of fringe?

That's very kind of you, Luna. I wouldn't have to wear them, would I? No, I'm terribly fond of fringe at all, actually.

I find fringe to be very flattering on most figures, actually. Are there any colours you prefer? I do believe lemon yellow would look nice with your complexion. Perhaps with bright purple stripes? Hmm, that does seem to be rather lovely.

What have I got myself into? I don't think that fringe would fit my personality, actually. I'm not a fringe-y type of person.

Lemon yellow is quite nice, but I'm afraid that if there were purple stripes, people might think I support Pride of Portree.

I think, rather, blue, with ducks on them. Yes. Actually, if it'll be too much bother, I'll owl Mum; she's bought my last few pair of pajamas for me, and they've been quite nice. I'll do that.I'm afraid that the ducks will move and quack.

I had duck slippers once! They were adorable. I wore them until they got holes. I think pajamas with ducks would be very cute too. You should look for some in Hogsmeade!

I had cat slippers before I came to Hogwarts. I left them at home and outgrew them, but now I wish I had brought them. Perhaps I'll look, but it's not terribly important.
