Consequence

Consequence  What comes to mind when you, who ever is reading this...as your own person, think of this very loaded word. I think the general consensus will be something like, "It's what happens after any act.". A good analogy for that definition would be to say that the way people act is due to their being human, in other words, completely vague.

The only real reason I posted such a thing, was the fact that I haven't heard anything from anyone with a point of view close to my own in quite some time. There used to be protests, general outrage at the things, we as the younger but not young people, are being subjected to. I don't know why I've taken a liking to the uhmm....militant? side of the equation, but it seems as though we are being taken advantage of because we haven't asserted ourselves and our opinions in the world. In regard to the freedoms that we have today, they were hard fought and won by the generation before us. It saddens me to think that in the future, we as a generation will be thought of as the ones who "rolled over". There is a war going on where people are dieing, there is a man in power now who cant tell his ass from a hole in the ground most of the time and the general consensus is, "Yeah....so?"!!!! I'll give you that alot more young people have been voting as of late, I myself did, but it is like we've called it quits after the FIRST battle and gone
