i just watched Milk. Amazing. I found it very powerful. It feels extremely relevant now, like to this world climate, because it is primarily a story about a man who gave hope to the masses. It definitely resonates right now. Awesome, awesome movie. Emile Hirsch is so going to win an Oscar before he's 30. I loove Slumdog Millionaire, like it's ( Read more... )

i have a small obsession with sean penn. i have to go see milk. it sounds so cool. and just... amazing.
and valkyrie. and the new one with angelina jolie. AND SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. argh. i have to see that with my parents. that guy who did the music for the movie is an EFFING GENIUS. he actually is a musical prodigy. i'm not kidding. i went to his concert when he came to melbourne and was just... blown away. all the music he does for films is unbelievable. and i'm SO GLAD that he's gotten the international recognition that he deserves.

i hate how people are assassinated for just wanting to make change in the world. i hate it. hate it, hate it, hate it. if people listened to them more instead of trying to find loopholes in security that they could get through to kill them, the world would be a better place.
if barack obama gets assassinated...
