This reminds me of a time back when I was an operational manager for a local company. One of the guys on my team happened to be a Vietnam Veteran and we got to talking one day. 30 or so years later and the pain is still there...ive spoke with many vietnam vets and i have felt their pain...it really is sad...

you EARNED this day phil i hope youve smiled at least once!

Completely agreed. It (how those vets were originally treated) is a period of shame, like a permanent black mark, that has been all but quietly swept under the rug by our nation.

I actually spent the day over at mom's helping her do yard work. :D

my dad (who is now 90 yrs. old) was in the air force and joined up when it was known as "the army/air corp."...
my brother was marine, and my uncle in the army..

all of you guys are awesome...
