I need to upgrade my motherboard. Glitch in it where it won't see more than 3.75 gigs of memory. Ever. No matter what. There's an update for the BIOS that's supposed to fix this, but it doesn't. Makes me sad, because I want my 5 gigs to be available

Yup. Turns out a company policy has it's own pitfalls to watch out for. For example, you pay based on EVERYONE's usage model, rather than just your own.
