This can get very annoying when you want to (for example) pull a system's hard drive and connect it to another via USB to grab some data. You can't just elevate privileges to grab files from a user's home directory. You have to sit there while Windows jacks with the permissions of literally every file in the home directory (including Temporary Internet Files, ugh...) before it'll actually let you in.
I've never tested what the effects of this permission changing would be if you put the drive back into the original system and tried to log in as that user. I'm curious.
