Some random Czech guy came up to me last night and asked where I learned such good Czech. For the record, I do not speak good Czech, so I'm pretty sure he was just hitting on me, but I'll still be happy for the compliment

i saw you over at the eurotravel community and wanted to say hi.
i am spending a solid 5 months in prague next year on my own and wanted to hear if you had any recommendations for housing and also, i do not speak czech, just english and working french and spanish. will i be in trouble?
What will you be doing here? If its for a job or school they may be able to help you with housing. Otherwise you'll have to use a realtor, since you won't have time to look on your own (it took me 2 months to find a place without a realtor). You'll pay 1 month's (usually) rent to them, but its the easiest way. If you are looking for roommates, try any of the expat websites (prague.tv or expats.cz are good) and you should find listings. Good luck.
The French and Spanish won't help you much, but its pretty easy to get by with just English, especially the closer to the center that you are.
