I found sweet potatoes! The fruit and vegetable place by my house has them. I doubt they will again, so I'm off to go buy all of them as well as more tiny cucumbers to make pickles with...

If anyone knows a recipe for the gravy to go with sweet potato fries, I would be very appreciative.

Hmmm never thought about putting gravy with them. I don't really have any recipes for gravy, as it just happens when I cook LOL. Well, that and I have Tony Chachere's instant roux.

This is a fairly interesting sauce that could go well with them:

Pink Pony Sauce

1 tb Water
8 oz Silken tofu
1 ts Freshly grated horseradish
1/3 c Beets, grated
1/3 ts Dry mustard
1 ts Honey
2 ts Olive oil

Place all ingredients in a blender. Puree on high
until smooth and creamy.
