Yes, it's "The birth of Venus" by Sandro Boticelli. Many of the Sims 3 paintings are actually very similar to some of the world's most famous paintings.

I am not really into art. I know my Picasso and Da Vinci but nothing more really.

I love all forms of art, and my best friend wouldn't know a Boticelli if it hit her right in the face. I respect that. There's just people that aren't into art, no need to be rude about it.

And actually, that painting was also referenced in Shrek; I don't know if you've seen that. But it's in the background of a scene with Lord Farquaad.

Its also in Assassin's Creed II. And I only know this because I'm replaying the series while waiting for the new game. I've never noticed it in Shrek.
