Aww, what a nice comment! I know, I wasn't sure about this story's lack of any real...well, any real plot, I guess, but it wanted to be written in spite of that. :) I'm glad people seem to like it even though there isn't a lot of suspense or interesting math or anything.
Excellent - so many great scenes, and your compassion for both Charlie and Don. In this section, I loved the scene where they reconciled, in the kitchen, that ended this way:
"“Does anyone really need a reason to bend spaghetti to watch it break?” Charlie asked philosophically, and watched another piece splinter. Across the table, Don grinned."
And thank you again! I'm glad you enjoyed it. That scene was also one of my favorites to write.
And I know I just said this on my other comment, but I can't help but reiterate - comments are like hot soup for the soul. Thank you thank you thank you.
I just discovered this fandom in September, after I found about a dozen eps from Numb3rs S3 on my old computer while I was transferring files to my newer one. I know most of the fic that is going to be written for this show has already been written, and that some of it has already become unavailable. So I am delighted that so many good stories are still available. I found this from the Numb3rs Big Bang comm. Have you thought about putting your work on AO3?
Thank you again for writing it, and for keeping it online!
