There is so much I need to be doing right now for school, but all I can think about is going to the CPA and playing racquetball. I am hopelessly addicted...

For anyone who has not read JRK's recent rant, even if you are not a Harry Potter fan, I highly recommend that you read it. I was impressed and I completely agree with her. I'm glad that someone ( Read more... )

I agree that it was awesome. Can you believe that some magazines and newspapers are putting her down for saying that?? What a crazy world!

Racquetball is TONS of fun! Brendon and I will have to meet you at the CPA sometime and teach you how to play. It's great exercise!

Maybe one of these days you'll get to see Milla. It'll be worth the wait, trust me. Brendon and I had a long distance relationship for nearly two years before we were able to finally get married.

Putting her down based upon what? Generically accusing her of slander or pessimism ? I tire of vague ad hominem arguments and inaccurate statements being published as biting criticism. Hence I no longer read the school paper.

Tons you say? I can only lift so much... Im sure I'll be terrified of the ball, and terrible at it, but I can try.

Actually a friend told me that ETSU has Finland as one of their countries in their study abroad plan.... So fingers crossed for next spring perhaps?
The conversations Ive had with her as of late... on so so so many subjects, and the... I cant call them arguements, because we handle them so well and patiently... I really feel that I should marry that girl, honestly.

Well, they are calling her hypocritical because there is a 'bad guy' (one out of all the bad guys in the book) who just happens to be overweight (therefore fat=mean) and the 'heroes' are all thin (therefore thin=good). They fail to take into consideration that the bad guy in question (Dudley, if you've read the books) is fat to show how much his parents overindulge him and that Harry is thin because he is treated poorly and very rarely gets enough food. Here is the article if you want to see for yourself: http://mugglenet.com/mnnews/04102006/mailonsunday.shtml

I'm sure you won't be terrible, although it does take a few tries to really get the hang of it.

Congrats on the possibility of going to Finland to meet your girl!! :)

Oh, that's great! We'd love to see you guys while she is in! Give us a call. I'm sure one of you has Bren's number, but if not let me know. :)
